Here she is!!!!!!! Little Miss Olivia Grace Burnett!!! She was born on Tuesday October 28Th she is doing well she lost to much weight in the hospital so she weighed in at 6lbs and 13 oz at birth and when we left the hospital she only weighed 6lbs and 2 oz so we are working on getting her weight up. Our first to nights have been ROUGH!!!! we are praying for better nights to come. My mom and Nana will be her Tuesday November 4Th we can't WAIT!!!!!! well i will keep you all updated!!!

This is the Paulaner beer house were Scott had his last beer and we ate dinner. I had sauerkraut and bratwursts and Scott had currywurst.

This is a Haunted house ride they had set up. The rides were so cool looking of course I could not ride because of Olivia and Scott could not ride because he can't handle the motion. So we just watched.

Hello everyone!! I know Amy is getting ready to fall in the floor because this is two days in a row I have blogged...lol..I love you Amy!!! Well what you see here is our little boy Fatty getting his pill with cheese at night...he goes nutts untill I give it to him and he knows that he gets it after he goes potty at night and right before bed...So he will drive me crazy till he gets it..I made the mistake of getting my mom's dogs in this routine also while I was staying with her. She tells me Isabelle drives her crazy wanting her pill and cheese too.. OK on to the good stuff the other pictures you see is mine and Scott's first cultural experience with the Germans... So Saturday night on our way home from bowling we saw and heard live music,( FYI the Germans love American music that is mostly all they listen to they especially love music that we would say is terrible and they love the 80's hair bands) so we parked the car and walked up to the park we then saw this wanna be 80's hairband cover band come out on stage...Of course Scott and I start laughing..they were pretty entertaining..they had a lot of beer (its Germany what do you expect) another unusual thing to me was I saw like teenagers that looked like they were no more than 15 years old walking around drinking beer...All the Germans just drink their beer and have a good time no one was getting hostile or wanting to fight unlike us Americans we get drunk and wanna fight any and everybody...lol..not all of us of course. well I included pictures of the band from Rock in the Park an some shots of the Germans...I miss everybody..

My life's excitement

So the time is getting closer and closer and soon we will get to meet our little Olivia Grace. We are both getting really excited, I am really nervous. Scott claims he is not nervous at all (I don't really believe that and neither does his mother we think he is probably scared s***tless ha ha!!) but us women all know a man will never admit fear. I go for my first OB visit on Wed in Weiden (that's the city of the hospital I will be giving birth in). We also will have our hospital tour that night where we will see the birthing pool I will be having Olivia in. Well I got my US forces driving licence last week so I can now drive all over Europe. YAY!! the base has a wonderful gym, its so nice. Ever since I got my licence on Wed I have been getting up at 4:30am making breakfast for Scott and I and then we leave the house at 5:45am and I drive him to work he goes to formation at 6:30am and then I go to the gym and do the Elliptical machine for 45min and then the treadmill for 45min. Scott gets to the gym around 6:45am to do his PT but I don't see much of him. Last week I sat with him in his company because our car broke on us and we had to put it in the shop all day, so that was not exciting for me at all. I the gym offers a prenatal yoga class that I will start on wed. So hopefully that will be exciting. I have 2 FRG (family readiness group) activities next week with all the wives of Scott's Company which should be fun and hopefully I will meet some friends. Scott and I have been enjoying bowling and going to movies on base for weekend activities. He has found a new passion for playing bass guitar, I think he is really good and he just learned about 1 month ago. He just got a good deal on a new Guitar on-line so he is patiently waiting for that to come in the mail..I have broke down and taken a picture of my fat belly for everybody's entertainment so i hope you all enjoy it.lol... This is my belly at almost 31 weeks..my pants are too big for me that why they look funny not to mention i pulled them down..Stay tuned there are many more adventures in store for me and for you all to read about...

Hey everybody I know I have not blogged in a while. Sorry !!

Well I am excited about being in Germany our Apt is beautiful and huge...I will take pictures and show them later.. I have my first doctors visit with my German doctor on September 3 @ 2pm. I am excited.. I hear that I will have a mid-wife during my labor and delivery. Oh I have a phone that I can be reached at if you call me you have to dial the number exactly as listed

Well Amy tagged me and can you believe it I am actually participating.....So I am supposed to take a picture of something in my house that tells a special story and as you all know I am in between residences awaiting to move to Germany and not to mention I am in Indy visiting my sissy so I substituted my house for hers. I choose Amy as my item in "my" house that tells a special story in my life. Amy has always been my inspiration ever since I was itty bitty I always wanted to be just like her and she hated it...needless to say it only brought us closer. I am so thankful for the wonderful sister I have in my life. The coolest part to this story is we both are pregnant and due exactly 2 months apart and we are going to be sharing the most wonderful and miraculous gift God could give so close together and I am truly thrilled about that. I love you Amy!!!!

The next item to do was to photograph items in my purse I can't live without and I would say it would be my hand cream, Tylenol because since my pregnancy I have headaches all the time, Tums for that wonderful heartburn being prego brings, of course my phone that's my life all in one, and my newest addition to my purse i cant live without are airheads I am addicted to them now. There is one thing missing but he can't fit in my purse and he is so for from me but if he could fit it would be my wonderful husband Scott. I love you Baby..and miss you so much!!!

Well now I have to tag someone and I am going to tag my Mommy Karen and I know she is looking at this saying "I don't have a blog Courtney!" and guess what mom this means you have to start a blog. I need to keep up with you while I am in Germany so get to Ma I hope to see it up and running pronto!!!

Well everybody its a GIRL!!!!!

I went for my 15 week ultrasound and found out that Scott and I are having a girl we have decided to name here Olivia Grace. I am really excited although Scott was hoping for a boy he is still really excited. Her profile shows she is going to have some big lips like me and a nose like me. Today she was waving at my mom and I and in the first picture you can see it sort of. Her heart rate was 154 bpm. I am leaving to stay with my sissy on Wednesday in Indianapolis and it sounds like we are going to have a concert extravaganza. Well I will keep you all posted.

doctor's visity

So yesterday I had my second baby doctor's visit and we were supposed to be able to hear the heartbeat but since I am not the skinniest person they were unable to hear the heart beat with the Doppler but the heartbeat was registering at 158/160 bpm so that's good. I go back for an ultrasound on May 19 which is a little less than 2 weeks from now and we will hear the heartbeat... YAY!!! Well Scott has been in Germany since April 27 and I will have to say its been quite nerve racking for me. He tells me today that its looking like at least 30 more days till I can get over there and of course I did not like the sounds of that. I miss him so much and being pregnant and extra emotional makes it even harder for me. Well the doctor did tell me that the epidural is still a no go but he did say I could possibly have something that is like a birth canal block but it will not help with my contractions but I still think i I am going to try and do it without any of that stuff. I also have still been loosing weight. I have started getting a baby bump also and had to switch to some maternity clothes because my other pants were getting uncomfortable. I went to see Baby Mama also and it was a wonderful cute movie I think anyone could enjoy it. Talk to ya next time!!

Hey everybody !! I know its been a while but My life has not been that exciting.. Last weekend I got to go get Scott from Fort Jackson for the weekend and his brother and his wife came down up on Saturday from Athens GA and his Grandparents came down from Wilson NC to visit with Scott and see him off before he leaves for Germany. Saturday night all of his family and My family met up and we went to dinner at the Peddler and it was wonderful We all had a wonderful time and our families really enjoyed socializing with each other (so I think anyways) I did take his grandmother to get a hair cut and now she looks like a first class diva!!!! Also Scott's Grandmother, Scott and I went to babies r us and picked out a different bedroom suit for the baby because we decided we did not like the one we originally chose. but on Monday Scott's mom called my mom and decide that we had stuff on the registry that we really did not need and and not the stuff we really needed so that afternoon Scott's mom, my mom and I went to babies r us and re did my whole registry and we ended up finding a really pretty crib on clearance so the bought that we are still with out a dresser but Scott wants to wait a pick out that. I get to go pick him up again this weekend YAY!!! we are also going to decide for sure on a bedding set this weekend so I will keep y'all posted....

Hey everybody..

well today has been just blah to me.. I got up around 9am and fatti and I went to the bank and then the post office and the grocery store ( i was craving grits!! hehe) went home and cooked some grits and eggs for breakfeast(fatti got a little too) shhhh!!! dont tell scott!! Then fatti and I went to wash some clothes. Oh yeah we watched the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks, and its such a cute movie...other than that my lonelyness has set in and i look around at all of our stuff in the apartment and realized scott was not ever coming back to this place..:( not to mention I am overwhelmed at getting moved to Germany...oh well.... I gotta get ready for work I only got 7 days left in that nerve racking place..yay that makes me smile..everybody hurry in to red lobster and get that Lobsterfest it ends Monday april 7..

My very first baby doctor visit

Well I went for my very first doctor's visit today and pictured to the left are the results..lol..its a blob!!!lol...jk its our baby!!!!!! he is only 8 cm long and the said the heart beat was beating good..they told me today that due to my lamactomy (disks L4 and L5 back surgery) I had when I was seventeen I may not be able to have a successful epidural because of the scar tissue...OUCH!!! So we maybe going all natural!!! They changed my due date to November 11, 2008 and that due date was determined by the trans vaginal ultrasound you see to the left which my doctor said was the most accurate determination. My doctor said everything looks great. My blood pressure was 130/90 which they said was good. So that made me happy. I have not gained any weight so far and he said that I may only gain 5-10 pounds and that with be perfectly fine since I already have significant weight on me as it is. I have formed eczema (i am unsure of the spelling) since I have become pregnant and the doctor acted like it was no big deal so I guess there is no reason for me to worry about it. I go for my last appointment in the US before I get to Germany on May 1...Well that's all I got y'all.....

Well tonight Scott left for the Army and I had to say my goodbyes and ofcourse i cried like a baby. He Flys down to Fort Jackson in Columbia SC tomorrow sometime then he flys over to Germany. So I may not see him for a month or 2. :( On the plus side my last day of work is Sunday april 13..YAY!!!! and on that monday April 14 fatboy and I will be on our merry way to G'vegas SC..I can't wait. I still have so much to do before I go to Germany..I have to get a whole new passport just to change my name on my passport and expedite it so i can get it in 2-3 weeks. Fatboy has to go to the vet and i have to arrange for transportion to pick up our stuff.. I feel slightly overwhelmed but I will just pray about it and I will be ok. Well I have my first doctors Appt. tomorrow morning at 11am and my friend Christina is going with me in scotts absence. so stay posted for the news..

My hospital scare...

So last Monday I started having some pains in my pelvic area..and I was worried that something was wrong so Scott and I went to the ER at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City....well the doctor did their normal routine blood work plus a hormone check and then the sent me for a ultrasound..the ultrasound tech finally found my baby and its heartbeat and I sighed in relief and got a little emotional when i saw my babies heartbeat.. The doctor told me everything looks good that my babies heartbeat was beating 99 bpm which she said said some may argue that that is slow but since i was early and only 6 weeks that was OK... She also said my hormone levels were 8300 and that was good...so thank GOD!!! She said the pain i was feeling was a small ovarian cyst and that is nothing to worry about. I have my first ob appt.. next Thursday April 3 @ 11:30 so i am excited....OH yeah on last thing for those who don't know my baby is due November 6, 2008!!!

P.S. I think its gonna be a boy because i had a dream... and i want to keep the sex a surprise but Scott doesn't so everyone convince him the let it be a surprise..
